Amelie: new cordless lamp by Sara Moroni

Product and lighting designer Sara Moroni has conceived a collection of cordless, rechargeable battery lamps, with a modern and distinctive design. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use contexts (IP65), all models (table, floor, wall lamps and garden stake lamp) can be easily transformed into a pendant lamp, thanks to the provided kit – a silicone cap and hook.
The design concept of this wide family is flexibility and variability: Amelie offers the possibility of personalizing all micro-environment with multiple installation methods and freedom of light composition. It can be hung from a tree to read a book, inserted into a vase to enhance the flowers on the terrace, attached to a pergola to illuminate from above a table or an entire area.
The style of Amelie is fresh and transversal: the shape is deliberately simple, clean and rigorous, yet the sign is contemporary and recognizable, characterized by rigorous lines softened by soft connections. The new colors (white, black, leaf green and terracotta) match well with the trends of the sector.
The light is directed downwards, comfortable, and adjustable: a touch control on the upper part of the head allows to switch on the lamp, dim the light and select the color temperature (K) between 2200, 2700 and 3000 K, to satisfy every lighting need. The battery lasts about 10 hours; charging time (on contact charging base) at 1A is 6 hours.
Intercepting the social and cultural transformations of contemporary living, Amelie was created with the intent to accommodate the emerging functional, emotional and luminous needs of contemporary man, who experiences space with completely new dynamics; and to provide a solution to the new needs of living, contextualized in small and fluid environments where the distinction between inside and outside is dissolving.
Amelie complies with the ECO DESIGN Regulation 2019/2020 EU. Diameter of the lamphead: 12 cm
