Recipes, shapes, colors, ingredients, dark challenges and relentless judging for the challenge among 16 amateur confectioners. The host is Benedetta Parodi, a well-known journalist, writer and television presenter of successful programs such as Cotto e mangiato and I menù di Benedetta, while the judges are Ernst Knam, an internationally renowned pastry chef, and Clelia d'Onofrio, for years editor of the prestigious Cucchiaio d'Argento. The set is located in a tensostruttura in the park of Villa Annoni - complex in Castellazzo di Bollate, northwest of Milan, just a few from the area that will host the Expo 2015 - one of the most important examples of parks of the neoclassical era.
