Zafferano a partner at a Conference/Tasting on the value and meaning of wine in the Jewish and Christian religions

The Conference/Tasting event, promoted by the Istituto di Studi Ecumenici “San Bernardino”, at the Convent of San Francesco della Vigna, Venice, which has always been involved in encouraging interfaith dialogue, will take place on Saturday 17th November from 2.30pm.
In the pursuit of a common trait among the main monotheistic religions (first and foremost Christian and Jewish), the importance of wine in individual religious doctrines has emerged. Starting with this concept, with the patronage of the European Commission (as part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage), on 17th November 2018, Catholic, Orthodox and Jewish Christians will gather around a table to discuss this subtle common trait and then taste the wines provided for the occasion by producers taking part in the event (with Kosher, Orthodox Christian and Catholic Christian wines).
The focus of the Conference/Tasting will be: Wine that gladdens the heart of man (Psalm 104,15). The value and meaning of wine in the Jewish and Christian religions. With this format, it will be a unique event in Italy.
